Material
Mild carbon steel is used for the manufacturing of the worm drive hose clamp as per the specifications of the ISI standards. The material used for the production of klip-wel brand clamps is ordered from the well reputed manufacturers having quality assurance certificates.

Manufacture

Screw - screw is use to tight the band around the hose
Band - A band clamp is used for clamping of items. It is to tighten the component diameter with in designated range.
Housing – housing is not easily deformed from the band. Therefore, the housing has rigidity and stable for the task as intended.
Finish – in the end the hose clamp parts are given a fine smooth polish to prevent roughness and sharpness around the edges. Electroplating coating of zinc as per Fezn 12 of IS: 1573/1970 is used for protection of the parts of hose clamp


Manufacture and testing of klip-wel band claps with highly precise torque tester.
Torque testing is used to measure the amount of torque being applied to an item. The torque value is provided in the table below with size. The value in the table showing the limit to prevent permanent distortion of the housing so that the clamp work efficiently.
